From the lunch menu choose a "small plate" (the veggie Beetroot Carpaccio with rocket and Parmesan is one of our favourites), then tuck into any "big plate" (the Pan Roasted Chicken with white Bordelaise sauce, creamed potato & seasonal veg is a perennial hit with the regulars), all whilst keeping your whistle whetted with a soft drink. Why we love The Pot Bistro: With a brand new location on Whitchurch Road, The Pot’s Chef/Owner Rhys Keogh is still packing as much flavour as possible into his comforting French cookery. All the classics are present and correct, from a sharing plate of Charcuterie to a seriously savoury Onion Soup topped with an oozy Gruyere crouton. Main courses, of course, include a Beef Bourguignon laden with tender meat and Seabass-Topped Bouillabaisse packed with all the flavour of the sea.
