Autumn is Park House's favourite time of year for meat, fish and vegetables, and they are delighted to hold their annual Autumn Menu & Wine Showcase once again. This year's dinner has an extra special element as it's their new Head Chef's first Park House event!

As they have done for the past few years, they'll be having an open wine tasting an hour before dinner that will showcase 25 of the new wines for the autumn-winter period. Wine with soul, passion and serious amounts of talent define the wines they are showcasing, and they're delighted to present them to you.

After the tasting, dinner will be served: Head Chef Chris Matthews has created a delicious menu packed full of flavour and balance, featuring a blend of Welsh, British and French ingredients used to create some classic and seasonal dishes that will warm the soul. Chris's cooking is a return to a more classic Park House style than in recent times - full of flavour, rich and extremely tasty!

Meat Menu:

  • ​Coco de Paimpol Velouté, garlic, parsley
  • Smoked Duck, walnut, apple, chicory, foie gras
  • Solva Bay Crab Ravioli, lobster bisque
  • Wild Line Caught Gower Seabass, spinach, saffron, courgette, bouillabaisse sauce
  • Scottish Moors Grouse, spiced red cabbage, boudin noir, pomme purée
  • 90-day-aged Pembrokeshire Beef, wild mushroom, black autumn truffle, Roscoff onion, salt-baked celeriac, red wine jus
  • Lime & Mint
  • Pannacotta, blackberry & apple crumble

Vegetarian Menu:

  • Truffled Honey Figs, walnut, apple, chicory
  • Ashlyn Goats Cheese Bonbon, heritage beetroot textures, pinenut & shallot dressing
  • Butternut Squash Ravioli, spinach
  • Cauliflower Tart, tahini yoghurt, orange blossom, cumin, coriander
  • Riz Provençale, poached hens egg
  • Lime & Mint
  • Pannacotta, blackberry & apple crumble

About Park House Restaurant

Set within a stunning, Grade 1-listed mansion built by the Marquees of Bute in 1874, Park House is an enchanting venue housing a restaurant, wine bar and underground cocktail bar. Embracing modern European cuisine with an emphasis on fresh Welsh produce, the fine dining menus are elegant and appealing. There is an emphasis on game, fish and seafood, alongside a few meat dishes. However, fantastic food isn't all you can expect when you visit Park House; Taittinger Wine Bar is well-known for its wine pairing abilities, and if you venture down to the basement, you'll find a chic cocktail bar by the name of La Cave with its own private entrance, giving it that elite, 'exclusive' feel. Ooh la la!
