Workshops are a super fun way to learn a new skill in a friendly, chill way - and this one has relaxing essential oils and plants, so we're sold.

Get a Wriggle on and you'll be crafting your own beautiful bath oil and macrame plant hangers at St. Werburghs City Farm. These could be for yourself (tempting), or you could give it as a handcrafted gift during the festive season.

On the day you will:

Pause: you will be greeted with a hot drink of your choice and a slice of vegan cake (hot and cold drinks are available throughout the workshop).

Engage: with Loo of The Vegan Mellanhand you will experience the aromas of essential oils, learn their wellbeing effects, and use this knowledge to create your own 50ml Neal’s Yard organic vegan essential bath oil.

With Jen of Knots & Shots you will learn about suitable materials to use for macrame and various knotting techniques to create a macrame plant hanger.

To Refresh: you will leave with:

  • 50ml of bespoke essential bath oil
  • A macrame plant hanger including a potted plant
  • A step by step guide of what you did in class
  • A stamped loyalty card to use towards future workshops
  • A smile on your face!

Please note: Dietary requirements can be catered for. Please inform The Vegan Mellanhand (lucy@theveganmellanhand.co.uk) after booking your Wriggle. If you are pregnant, suffering from a serious skin condition, epilepsy, asthma, or taking medication please seek medical advice before attending the workshop.

10% of all sales go towards the Marmalade Trust, a charity tackling loneliness in society.

About The Vegan Mellanhand @ St. Werburghs City Farm

The Vegan Mellanhand means middle-person. They provide a helping hand to those who aspire to live a life that is not too little, not too much, but is just right. A SUNDAY WELL SPENT BRINGS A WEEK OF CONTENT! Having experienced mental illness first hand they are particularly passionate about the importance of taking time out for yourself. Their mission is to promote the Scandinavian way of life, notably ‘lagom’ which can enhance people’s wellbeing. Lagom' is the Swedish translation of ‘not too little, not too much. Just right.’ This can be in relation to time, resilience, community, inner health, learning and consumption. Rather than fitting a bit of lagom into your day it's more about your approach to life as a whole. Why Vegan? Lagom and veganism go hand in hand. - balanced - consciousness -fairness -sustainability. They use products which are aligned with lagom. Plant based formulas that are not too little, not too much. Just right.
