About The Vegan Mellanhand

The Vegan Mellanhand means middle-person. They provide a helping hand to those who aspire to live a life that is not too little, not too much, but is just right. A SUNDAY WELL SPENT BRINGS A WEEK OF CONTENT! Having experienced mental illness first hand they are particularly passionate about the importance of taking time out for yourself. Their mission is to promote the Scandinavian way of life, notably ‘lagom’ which can enhance people’s wellbeing. Lagom' is the Swedish translation of ‘not too little, not too much. Just right.’ This can be in relation to time, resilience, community, inner health, learning and consumption. Rather than fitting a bit of lagom into your day it's more about your approach to life as a whole. Why Vegan? Lagom and veganism go hand in hand. - balanced - consciousness -fairness -sustainability. They use products which are aligned with lagom. Plant based formulas that are not too little, not too much. Just right. Jen (Knots & Shots) “I am a self-taught crafter specialising in macrame, I have always had a passion for crafts especially learning traditional techniques. Originally from Ireland, I moved to Bristol, UK in 2012 and set up my small business Knots and Shots at the end of 2013, knots for my macrame and shots for my photography! I first became interested in macrame when I wanted to make plant pot hangers for some of my houseplants. A friend showed me the basic knots and then I began to teach myself more advanced macrame techniques. I now specialise in plant pot hangers but I also make wall hangings and have a range of accessories and home-wares including key-rings, badges, magnets, shelves & bunting.” Instagram- @knotsandshots
