This event is part of the 2018 Bristol Food Connections festival – a citywide celebration of the fantastic, varied and delicious food culture in our city. From the 11th - 17th June, BFC will shine a light on the diverse people, businesses and organisations that make our city's food culture so incredible. Head to the festival and embark upon a voyage of discovery and exploration, learning about all aspects of the journey of food – from field to fork.

Queen and Whippet present: a feast from the holistic pasture. As part of this year's Bristol Food Connections festival, the wonderfully talented Queen and Whippet Catering company are teaming up with the Mendip Hill's Fernhill Farm to produce a stunning four course summer feast. At the supper club the team will be showcasing the incredible produce that results from Fernhill Farm's mission to preserve, protect and share their productive farmland. The price includes all food sourced from local suppliers and the first two glasses of accompanying wine.

Guests will have a chance to hear from the farmers Andy and Jen themselves about the Countryside Stewardship Scheme and how nurturing soil health is essential to maintaining our fragile ecosystem. The supper club will take place in the beautiful newly-restored space of The Radnor Rooms over on St Nicholas Street – it's a really lovely space, and the perfect setting for a summer supper club, and there will also be a pay bar open on the terrace until 11pm.

About Queen and Whippet @ Bristol Food Connections

Queen and Whippet is the brainchild of husband and wife team Pete and Jo – quite possible one of the friendliest power couples on the Bristol food and drink scene. Pete is a classically trained chef who was brought up on hearty, home-cooked Irish food and went on to cut his culinary teeth cooking in some of the most exciting restaurants in Edinburg and London. Jo used to be a record label events manager, and brings a meticulous knack for organisation, planning and creativity to the events that her and Pete create. After their illustrious pasts they've settled in Bristol, and have devoted themselves to the incredible West Country food scene which we are all so lucky to be surrounded by. Queen and Whippet are inspired by this culinary diversity, and use their combined know-how to create fabulously high-end yet totally fuss free to a range of events, including their hugely popular pop-up supper clubs. How to claim

Book your Wriggle through the app or website now, and then head on over to The Radnor Rooms in good time before the event starts. Introduce yourself as a Wriggler, show your code and indulge.
