Hot damn! This week, Wriggle is all about spice. It's Chilli Week and we've gathered the spiciest, fieriest treats in the city to set your week on fire! Now, pass the milk...

Pipal Tree knows a thing or two about spice – and this week they're going all in, offering you a heat feast

First, pick your starter:

  • Tandoori Chicken Wings: Succulent chicken wings, seasoned with a spice blend and yoghurt. The Kashmiri red chillies and turmeric result in a fiery red-hue finish. Served with a homemade dip. (GF)
  • Punjabi Mussels: Mussels in a fragrant red wine, tomato, chilli, garlic, onion, ginger and coriander Tarka Masala. Served with a roti to mop up the sauce.
  • Punjabi Chicken Goujons: Pan-cooked tender chicken goujons, marinated in yoghurt and herbs. (GF)
  • King Prawns: Fresh king prawns cooked in IPA, butter, bell peppers, garlic, ginger, onions, tomato and mushrooms in a herb mix and spices with fresh coriander.

Then, choose your main from either the Punjabi or Fusion menu:

Fusion Mains (already have a side allocated)

  • Supreme Chicken Paneer: Marinated in a homemade tandoori paste, filled with paneer and pan-cooked in a red wine & cream sauce, mixed bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms. Served with Punjabi aloo (GF).
  • Punjabi Mussels: Mussels in a fragrant red wine, tomato, chilli, garlic, onion, ginger and coriander Tarka Masala. Served with two rotis to mop up the sauce.

Punjabi Mains

  • Chana Aloo: Chickpeas and potatoes, cooked in a rich chana masala sauce. (VG) (GF)
  • Lamb Subji: Slow-cooked tender chunks of lamb leg cooked in a rich, mouth-watering courgette-based family-secret sauce.
  • Murga Subji: Aromatic chicken leg and thigh in a mild spice mix in a rich tomato and sweet pepper sauce.
  • Aloo Batoo Shola: Kala chana, potatoes & aubergine cooked together. (VG) (GF)
  • Soya Bean Vuriya: Healthy dish with soya chunks cooked in a hearty tomato masala base, lightly spiced sauce and melt-in-your-mouth potatoes. (VG) (GF)

And finally, add a side:

  • Boiled Rice
  • Plaah Veg Rice
  • Roti (Chapati)
  • Paratha
  • Mixed Salad
