About the {{offerTypeLabel(offer)}}

This event is part of the 2018 Bristol Food Connections festival – a citywide celebration of the fantastic, varied and delicious food culture in our city. From the 11th - 17th June, BFC will shine a light on the diverse people, businesses and organisations that make our city's food culture so incredible. Head to the festival and embark upon a voyage of discovery and exploration, learning about all aspects of the journey of food – from field to fork.

Come and visit the Grow Bristol urban farm - the unique vertical indoor farm in a shipping container not far from Bristol Temple Meads station. You will meet the team, taste the crops, and talk with others interested in local, fresh and sustainable food systems in the city.

This is a great opportunity to experience how sustainable urban farming can be done right in the heart of the city. During the tour you will see behind the scenes of this innovative and unique growing system, sample freshly picked micro-greens, and hear from the co-founders. Find out about hydroponics and vertical farming, the production of ultra-local and sustainable food, or the broader spirit of community-conscious business.

Grow Bristol is a community interest company (CIC). With the money raised through public and corporate engagement, they can continue to deliver our social commitment to educate and engage.
