Prohibition - Welcome to the Warring Twenties!

Chance & Counters @ Good Chemistry

Prohibition is an original creation from Chance & Counters - and hosted at the Good Chemistry brewery. It’s an immersive social experience - somewhere between a board game and murder mystery.

The game leads 50 aspiring movers and shakers along a journey of corruption, competition and coercion, set in twenties’ America. Each person is given a unique identity at the start of the evening, dictating how they might choose to play and with whom they may wish to form alliances.

Over the course of two hours and three ‘acts’, attendees must gather all the information and equipment they need for the evening’s grand finale, by any means necessary. Think moonshine and mafia, tommy-guns and trading, corruption and cut-throat competitors!

They’ll be turning Good Chemistry’s brewery and taproom into the underground drinking hole they’ve always wanted, and Good Chemistry's always excellent beer will be flowing all night long. There is a prohibition era dress-code, think Gangsters, Molls and Film Noir and you won’t be far wrong!

Why we love Chance & Counters @ Good Chemistry: Chance & Counters are the king of Bristol board-games. At their home on the Christmas Steps, you can find literally hundreds of board games - served alongside food & drink - and particularly an awesome selection of beers.

Their love has beer has led to their collaboration with Good Chemistry - one of Bristol's top brewers - creating beautiful concoctions like their pale-ale Natural Selection, from their St Philips home.

How to claim: Purchase through Wriggle. Make sure you get over to Good Chemistry in good time for the 7pm start - and enjoy an evening of moonshine and mafia!
