Let the games begin! Clock out of the office and tuck into some signature cocktails and a gaming sesh. Pick something light, or go straight for an epic brain burner. You'll get a game session of up to four hours, and any two of Chance & Counters' creative concoctions, with choices including:

  • Bloody Mary (Vodka & tomato juice - the rest is C&C's little secret)
  • Flora Dora (Gin, raspberry, lemon juice & ginger beer)
  • Elderflower Cooler (Gin, elderflower, bitters & tonic water)
  • New Old-Fashioned (Bourbon, cherry, vanilla, bitters & orange peel)
  • Espresso Martini (Fresh espresso, vodka & coffee liqueur)
  • White Russian (vodka, coffee liqueur, coffee digestif, whole milk, single cream & chocolate bitters)

Once you're set up with your drinks, let the staff help you find just the right game from their collection of over 600 titles, and settle in to save humanity, get the treasure, or just chase a king around the grid.

About Chance & Counters

Nestled at the foot of the charming Christmas Steps, Chance & Counters is Bristol's only dedicated Board-Game cafe/bar and has fast developed a cult-following. It's a lovingly-created passion project for its 3 owners. Inside you'll find literally 100s of board-games. The knowledgable team help you select a game to suit your vibe, buzzing with enthusiasm as they explain the rules. And off you go – into the rabbit-hole that is modern board-gaming. As you play, stoke your creativity with a few carefully selected beers, wines or spirits. Or play it safe with a juice or coffee.
