Come and join Bristol's premier liquid nitrogen frozen-cocktail creators – Brozen – on the 23rd of Jan at 7pm for their first event night of the year – Gosling's Rum Extravaganza – co-hosted by Emily Gosling. This is most definitely for the rum lovers!

About Brozen Bar

Tucked away in St Nicholas Street is Brozen Bar: quite possibly Bristol's most exciting and unusual place to enjoy a cocktail or two. Imagined, owned and managed by twins Ben and Joe, Brozen Bar was dreamed up following the brothers' cycling tour around Europe. During this trip, they indulged in as many different ice creams, chocolates and delicious confectionary as they could get their mitts on, hoping to unearth the best possible ways of producing delectable, fresh, organic ice cream. After an intense, labour-intensive and ice cream-heavy period of research they resolved that the key lay in something more than a little unexpected: liquid nitrogen. To cut a long story short, it turns out that at -196 degrees, liquid nitrogen has the power to instantly freeze fresh ingredients together, resulting in silky-smooth gelato... and, as it happens, its' mighty tasty too! Having conquered gelato and ice-cream the next step was (naturally) introducing booze to the mixer, and thus the Brozen Bar was born – bringing heavenly frozen cocktails and a hefty serving of Willy Wonka style fun-loving "delight and surprise" to the back streets of Bristol. At Brozen Bar, Ben and Joe utilise the same exacting standards and rigorous research methods they honed in creating their original Liquid Nitrogen product, and they put their ice-cold skills to good use with the organic and locally sourced ingredients that go into their frozen cocktails. Frozen gin cocktails are crafted using the inimitable Bristol Dry Gin (practically neighbours to Brozen, Bristol Dry Gin operate out of a micro-distillery located under The Rummer in St Nicks), and the menu is short but perfectly formed, with a regularly rotating and varied capsule collection of 4-6 cocktails taking centre stage. The atmosphere in Brozen is as chilled out as the frozen cocktails you'll be sipping on – expect an eclectic playlist of excellent tunes and smiley, friendly service with none of the pomp and pretension that's so often a feature of high-end cocktail bars. Exposed wooden interiors and up-cycled tables and chairs lend a stripped-back Berlin-style feel to the place, whilst incredible artwork adorns the walls. Brozen is the perfect choice for quirky first dates, with the theatrical show underpinning the creation of liquid nitrogen-based frozen cocktails guaranteed to give you and your date plenty to talk about.

How to claim

Purchase your Wriggle through the app or website now, and then head on over to Brozen Bar during the specified timeframe. Introduce yourself as a Wriggler, show your code and indulge.
