January 15th is going to be the day Mark Olver's Belly Laughs invades Wapping Wharf, with some of the biggest names from the telly in tiny venues. These nights will all sell out, so be sure you can get tickets to this late edition to the party.

On offer is an intimate comedy night at Pigsty. Only 18 seats in total are available!

You'll get a night of live comedy, with a top secret bill of comedians (although Mark does like to leak some names via twitter!). This ticket includes the show, and a Pig Mac, their signature burger with a pork patty and slow-roasted BBQ pulled pork, a feast you can hoist with your trotters.

Olver sez:

Got another addition to the Wapping Wharf party on January 15th. The incredible Pigsty. I love this place. I love their food, I love their attitude, I love the staff. Apart from certain fried chicken emporiums Pigsty is my go to in Bristol. And the Pig Mac is a brilliant meal. If you are a veggie this isn’t for you. But if you like meat and you like comedy and you like doing something slightly different this is definitely the gig for you. Also, it’s a fairly early start so you might be tempted to do this one and then go to another later. So excited.

About Belly Laughs @ Pigsty Wapping Wharf

January is time for Belly Laughs, a series of comedy gigs around Bristol and the South West, set in independent restaurants and cafes. Belly Laughs is a showcase of Bristol's food and comedy talent. It promises unforgettable nights in intimate venues, and all proceeds go to support Julian Trust, a night shelter in central Bristol. It's the brainchild of Bristol comedian, Mark Olver, who started Belly Laughs last year after noticing how January was a quiet period for both restaurants, and for his comedian friends. He saw the opportunity to book in some impossible gigs―huge names in tiny spaces―and to raise money for a worthy charity. Last year, Belly Laughs put on shows in ten venues around Bristol, and raised over five thousand pounds. Lineups will change right up till the moment the show begins. He's already confirmed Rosie Jones, Fern Brady, Jarred Christmas, Stuart Goldsmith for different spots across the festival, as well as dozens of the best of Bristol's comedy scene. These gigs will be sold out before the exact lineups are known, so think of it as a secret gig. Expect a great show with great food and know you're supporting a good cause.
