About the {{offerTypeLabel(offer)}}

Want to improve your gut health, learn amazing new culinary skills and have fun while you're at it? This is the event for you! Making your own fermented foods is one of the best and simplest things you can do to improve your health - and it's less expensive and complicated than you might think!

Olivia at Wild Cultures has designed an intensive yet simple, enjoyable and interactive workshop that takes you through all the steps involved in making your very own fermented food and drinks. Olivia has years of experience in teaching people about the benefits and techniques behind fermented foods, and her knowledge, enthusiasm and infectious passion know no bounds. Her fermentation recipes and processes stem from either family recipes that were passed down by her German mother or traditional fermentation recipes that she has perfected through years of experience.

At the workshop you will learn how to make:

  • Traditional German Sauerkraut
  • Kimchi
  • Water Kefir (aka Tibicos, Japanese Water Crystals, Californa Bees)
  • Probiotic Ginger Beer
  • Milk Kefir- Dairy and Non-Dairy
  • Kombucha
  • Matsoni Yogurt

You'll leave the workshop with:

  • Your own jar of sauerkraut that's ready to ferment
  • Water Kefir Grains
  • Matsoni Yogurt Culture
  • Information sheets outlining all the steps plus recipes (no need to take notes)

You'll also be able to contact Olivia for continued support in your foray into fermented foods!
