About the {{offerTypeLabel(offer)}}

If you're looking for a night out with a difference, look no further than Pop-Up Brighton's incredible art-based club night: The Wedding/Divorce Party.

Part of Pop-Up Brighton's incredible Love Box Pop-Up season, this quirky, creative club night is packed with immersive art, funky tunes and purely good vibes – all in the name of celebrating love. Expect DJ's playing disco and classic 80's love songs to get you in the mood, and if you don't want to dance but do want to get bendy, then there's a giant twister board to play on.

There'll be loads of weird and wonderful stuff going down on the night: what better way to celebrate love then taking part in a shotgun wedding? Wear your best – or weirdest dress – and marry your loved one – or yourself – or even your favourite tipple. There's no judgement here. If a few hours later your marriage has already worn out the highs and is fast plummeting towards the lows, you can even get a divorce; these guys have thought of everything.

Pop-Up Brighton would like to point out that the weddings and divorces they'll be issuing willy nilly will not stand in the court of law – so don't try marrying anybody for their money, cos you ain't getting none.

There'll also be immersive art, performance, video and 2D art, all exploring the theme of alternative love. Artists will be announced soon – if you'd like to be part of the show email info@popupbrighton.com.

Important: doors open at 10pm, and the club night ends at 3am. Pop-Up Brighton is an art gallery – please be respectful towards the art. The venue takes pride in welcoming everyone, so homophobia, transphobia, misogyny or racism will not be tolerated.

About Pop-Up Brighton

Pop-Up Brighton has flourished since the small beginnings in an empty shop on the seafront in 2011. They are constantly growing and evolving to help as many different creatives as possible. Aiming to support local artists by giving them opportunities and exposure for free in as many different types of shows as possible, they help artists get free opportunities by curating bespoke pop-up shows. They help as many different creatives as possible by organising as many different shows as possible. Each event has a focus on a different artistic discipline but with the same attitude of keeping it free for the artists to take part. Having been there, the Pop-Up Brighton team know what its like to be struggling artists and that why they set up Pop-Up Brighton to help artists get their name and work out.
