About the {{offerTypeLabel(offer)}}

Introducing an evening of inspirational talks at The Love Box based on the idea of self-love and self-empowerment.

We have 3 of Brighton's iconic women each giving a speech on how they found self-love. A topic that isn't often spoken about and in society often frowned upon, when it is one of the most important things we need to learn.

Featuring :
- Lu'Ami is a performer, songwriter, vocal coach, and co-creator of an urban well-being workshop launching next year in Brighton.
In Lu’Ami’s talk named ‘Living Without Limits’, she will highlight two common limitations and describe how to break them down in order to live a free and limitless life.
Lu’Ami started public speaking in 2017, and she is passionate about continuing to spread the message of self-love, and intent on helping people feel less alone.

- Sophie Turton is a writer, public speaker, and director of The Joyful Web. Sophie will share her epic romance of the self, and how that impacted her journey towards becoming positive, open and present.

- Sophie Tanner is a Brighton-based author and ardent ambassador of self-love. In 2015 she married herself in a public cultural ceremony. Her novel, Reader, I Married Me, is loosely based on her own experience of sologamy and will be published this summer. Sophie will talk to us about what she's learned about self-compassion and self-acceptance on her quest for 'happily ever after'.

About Pop-Up Brighton

Pop-Up Brighton has flourished since the small beginnings in an empty shop on the seafront in 2011. They are constantly growing and evolving to help as many different creatives as possible. Aiming to support local artists by giving them opportunities and exposure for free in as many different types of shows as possible, they help artists get free opportunities by curating bespoke pop-up shows. They help as many different creatives as possible by organising as many different shows as possible. Each event has a focus on a different artistic discipline but with the same attitude of keeping it free for the artists to take part. Having been there, the Pop-Up Brighton team know what its like to be struggling artists and that why they set up Pop-Up Brighton to help artists get their name and work out.
