About the {{offerTypeLabel(offer)}}

Discover the ancient craft of enamelling - the fusion of glass, copper and fire. In this hands-on 4-week workshop, you will learn how to enamel on to copper, using powdered enamels and liquid industrial enamel, creating a series of jewellery and enamelled tiles. The course will continue to develop your skills in enamel and metal work, to create a glass and enamel chandelier, created from 100% recycled and sustainable materials.

Over the four weeks, the course will explore a range of enamelled techniques, including experimenting with ceramic decals, and the chance to design and print your own ceramic decals. It's the perfect after-work activity to enjoy some you-time, and finish up with some seriously stylish, entirely homemade creations.

Weeks 1-2: you will have the chance to be able to work on your own project ideas, with a tutor to support you through your ideas and project. Or, the tutor can provide enamel projects and ideas for you to work on.

Weeks 3-4: you will be working on creating an enamelled chandelier, created from recycled glass, recycled copper and enamelled chandelier discs and beads. On your last session, you'll celebrate finishing your enamelled projects, whilst sipping prosecco and enjoying some nibbles, and taking photos of the work created.

With your ticket to the 4-week course, you'll attend sessions on four consecutive Tuesdays: 17th July, 24th July, 31st July and 7th August.

If it's not possible for you to make one of the sessions (it is holiday season after all), you can discuss adding an extra one-on-one session for you to catch up on your projects.

Your ticket includes all materials.

About Pop-Up Brighton

Pop-Up Brighton has flourished since the small beginnings in an empty shop on the seafront in 2011. They are constantly growing and evolving to help as many different creatives as possible. Aiming to support local artists by giving them opportunities and exposure for free in as many different types of shows as possible, they help artists get free opportunities by curating bespoke pop-up shows. They help as many different creatives as possible by organising as many different shows as possible. Each event has a focus on a different artistic discipline but with the same attitude of keeping it free for the artists to take part. Having been there, the Pop-Up Brighton team know what its like to be struggling artists and that why they set up Pop-Up Brighton to help artists get their name and work out.
