We’ve all tasted chocolate before, but have you ever made your own chocolate from scratch? I’m guessing not! If this piques your interest, then head over to Brighton Community Kitchen and join the team of Cocoa Crystal’s luxurious chocolate making workshop.

Work with raw organic ingredients from prized Peruvian Criollo cacao to make your own delicious chocolates in this class led by Emily, founder of Brighton chocolate micro-producer Cocoa Crystal. Emily will guide you through the science behind tempering and the craft of real chocolate making, using only ingredients free of animal products, gluten and palm oil.

This is a fun and indulgent workshop that nevertheless has ethics at its core – a chocolate class you can feel truly good about enjoying. And that’s even before you’ve had the complimentary glass of Prosecco!

What previous participants said: “Liked the knowledge and passion of the teacher.” “Very educational and eye opening… So amazing, a real science and art to the making of chocolate.” “Thank you so much for the amazing evening.”

This Wriggle includes:

  • Professional tuition
  • All ingredients and equipment
  • Hot drinks throughout the session and a welcome glass of fizz
  • Your own handcrafted chocolates to takeaway

Any profits raised from this class supports their community cookery activities – where everyone can experience the benefits of cooking and eating together, regardless of finance, confidence or ability.
