Longtime BFFs John Nimmons and Jools Whitehorn have backgrounds in the travel industry and media respectively. After having witnessed the boom in social competitive activities, they dipped their toe in the water and successfully ran Battle Bows and Bubble Football for a number of years. Wanting to create an experience with a sharp edge, they created the UK’s first urban axe throwing venue: Whistle Punks. After opening a first venue in London, and a second one in Manchester a few months later, they took over Birmingham in June 2017 and opened up on Holloway Head. The team behind Whistle Punks are a bunch of laid-back, super friendly peeps that'll show you how to master the art of axe throwing and help you improve until you become a master yourself. Whistle Punks Birmingham also supports Birmingham Women and Children's Hospital Charity, who provide outstanding care and treatment to all patients.
