Think of these experiences as a chef’s recommendation, a personal invite to try a restaurant’s pièce de résistance, if you will. We all know we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out in Cardiff, but for this week only you can discover some of the city’s finest dining establishments in a brand new, and affordable way - with the added addition of being able to try out the dishes the chefs have poured their heart and soul into, and are are most proud of.

Grab a date, and get ready for this Chef's special: a splendid sharing board piled high with all the best of our beloved España:

- Selection of three Spanish cured meats - jamón reserva, chorizo ibérico and salchichón

Grab a date, and get ready for this Chef's special: you'll nibble on 5 different tapas plates and a sharing board topped with the Chef's personal selection of cured meats and cheeses. All this goodness will come with a glass of wine each - white, rosé or red. Some of the small plates you can expect are Gambas, Patatas Bravas and Chorizo and on your sharing board you'll get some of these tasty treats - Serrano ham, Manchego, Mahon Curado and Salami.

Lezzet Turkish Kitchen is well-known for its delicious food and extensive menu – great for making sure you try something new every time you head there, but it can be a bit overwhelming for a first-timer. Enter Hakam Sir, Lezzet's owner. We asked him what are the dishes he recommends to family and friends, and he didn't disappoint. For meat-eaters, try the Sucuk to start and the Seafood Casserole for main. Vegetarian? No problem – try the Saksuka followed by the Falafel instead. Feel like exploring by yourself? Choose any starter and any main from the list below, the sky is the limit.

Wriggle your way over to Hotpot Spot, where head chef and flavour mastermind Trystan has come up with a glorious package of traditional Chinese dishes for your delectation and delight. These are his favourite dishes – and he's a talented chef with year of experience – so you can guarantee they'll be incredible. With this Wriggle, you'll enjoy Biang biang noodles: also known as belt noodles these fellas are handmade from scratch in house each day, and are cooked up with pak choi, bean sprouts and then fried with garlic, spring onions and chillies. They're finished with Chinese vinegar, soy sauce and coarse sea salt. A cha siu bao: a deliciously flavourful bao bun, filled with Cantonese barbecue cha siu pork and lucky buddha beer. Perfect!

Wriggle your way over to the beautiful Seren Diemwnt and tuck into chef Dale's ultimate recommendation. So, what's on the menu?

Cajun Duck Boudin: a delicious duck sausage, served on a charcoal brioche with sweet potato puree, bitter leaves, chow chow chutney ,crispy duck skin, pickled cherries & deep fried foie gras.

This beauty comes served with a 500ml bottle of Whoosh craft beer from Monmouth based brewery Untapped – keeping it local.

​ Roasted Guinea fowl stuffed with fresh basil, pork and dates, all served with a parsnip puree, porcini mushroom, cavolo nero and liquorice sauce.

Accompany this stunning dish with a small glass of house white – we love the Sauvignon blanc.

Set within a stunning, Grade 1-listed mansion built by the Marquees of Bute in 1874, Park House is an enchanting venue housing a restaurant, wine bar and underground cocktail bar.
