2X TICKETS TO MOCKINGBIRD (A NIGHT OF STORYTELLING IMPROVISATION) - Thu 1st Jun 8.00pm - 10.00pm
A brand-new night of storytelling improvisation.Watch a musician, a technician, and six fearful/fearless actors work spontaneously to create a fully narrative evening of comedy, drama, joy and suspense – from anywhere in space or time.
They'll be inventing stories from a title you provide, with no rehearsal, no preparation, and no discussion!
To celebrate the launch of their new website, Sift Guides presents their first Supper Club event with dinner and live music at Salt Cafe (and all included in the ticket).
They will be serving food to cater for our vegan guests as well as the carnivorous diners. A starter of caramelised red onion, thyme and goats cheese puffs (with handmade hummus and flatbread as a vegan option) followed by a main course of chicken/aubergine tagine with roasted vegetable couscous. The meal will finish with vegan brownies with fresh fruit on the side.
Join Sift at the amazing Salt cafe for an evening of live music and supper.
FILM SCREENING: NEITHER ONE THING OR ANOTHER - Thu 8th Jun / 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Arnolfini will screen two films by Patrick Hough and Lawrence Lek. Commissioned by Jerwood/ FVU awards the films employ pioneering, conceptually fitting technologies to examine the steadily blurring line between the real and the artificial.
2X TICKETS TO LIVE IMPROV COMEDY: NOTFLIX - Fri 9th Jun / 8.00pm - 10.00pm
Waiting For The Call presents Notflix, the most / least recommended original movies generated from the ghastly depths of audience suggestion.
Think of a terrible plot, think of awful characterisation, think of twists so frustratingly illogical that you yearn for the narrative simplicity of Memento.
How could it possibly get any worse?
Did we mention the cast are making it up as they go along? Did we mention it's a musical? Oh. Also featuring a live band and original improvised songs.
Notflix. Because everything is better as a musical.
