The latest craze of knocking down an infinite supply of bubbly at brunch is making seismic waves in Bristol’s eateries and watering holes. Along with the rise of the bottomless prosecco, several places are mastering the art with creative offerings of unlimited bloody marys, savoury tapas and proper barbecue grub (and we are eternally grateful). And yet, just when you think bottomless cannot possibly be served in any other form, in come Foozie with their 90’s retro crisp pop-up.
Over at The Kitchen on Silver Street, experimental foodies with an eye for the bottomless can take a taste trip back to 90's with an opportunity to taste over 30 of the most nostalgic crisps available. Expect Chip Sticks, Tangy Toms, Wheat Crunchies and more. You can dunk these crisps into a dip or sauce of your choice or make a mighty meal of it by sandwiching between thick slices of white or brown buttered bread.
If you’re somewhat baffled by what type of bap to make, have a read through Foozie’s list of recommended concoctions, whilst rocking out to 90’s jams and sipping on some retro soft/alcoholic drinks. They are also hosting a cracking competition for the best sandwich, so it’s not all fun and games at the crisp buffet (winners will receive their money back on tickets). If savoury snacks served in unlimited portions sounds like it might be your thing, grab your tickets now and prepare for an evening of throwback food, booze and tunes.
There will be two sessions on both the 30th of August and 6th of September:
Tickets are £9.50 and includes 2-hours of bottomless retro crisps, dips, bread and 90’s vibes. Drinks sold separately.
