26th April: Foxhole Gin Club @ The Milk Thistle | £25
On Thursday 26th April The Milk Thistle Gin Club will play host to a very exciting new British Gin, bringing together sustainability and creativity to make a truly unique spirit. Ladies and gentlemen, we bring you Foxhole Gin!
On the night The Milk Thistle will bring you a night of all things gin, hosted by Foxhole founder and born and bred Bristolian James. You'll be treated to three Foxhole Gin cocktails, some neat gin tasters and delicious nibbles from The Ox. James will share his story as well as answering any burning gin related questions you might have, and you can join in with the fun for just £25.
26th April: 6 Course Mexican Feast @ Spike Island | £30
If you're looking for a night of fantastic, fiery, and funky food then look no further than this incredible 6 course Mexican cantina style feast from the phenomenally talented Tara's Table. This gastronomic delight of an evening is inspired by Tara's culinary travels around Mexico; during her adventures she noted down the recipes of the best things she ate, chatting with the chefs along the way and picking their brains for tips and family recipes. Now she's back and cooking up a storm at Spike Island Café for this fantastic one-off event – you'd be mad to miss it! Get a gang of your closest pals together, or rally the whole family for a deliciously informal, exciting night of cantina-inspired fun and food.
26th April: Ardbeg Whisky Club @ Hyde & Co | £20.00
On Thursday 26th April the Hyde & Co Spirit Society will be bringing you a truly exceptional whisky, one named ‘World Whisky of the Year’ no less than four times in the last seven years, and a Scotch described as “as close to perfection as makes no difference.” Ladies and gents, Hyde & Co presents Ardbeg.
For the April instalment of their monthly Spirit Society, Hyde & Co be bringing the spirit of Islay to Bristol as they're joined by the team from Ardbeg for a very special night of excellent Scotch and great company. For £20 you’ll enjoy a tutored tasting of the Ardbeg range, an Ardbeg cocktail on arrival and the chance to learn about a thoroughly fascinating spirit, and one of Hyde & Co's personal favourites.
26th April: Live: Joz Norris & Caroline Maybey @ How Lazy Is He? | £5
This week at your comedy local, it's Caroline Mabey and Joz Norris! Caroline Mabey is a fantastic London-based standup and sketch comedian, as well as co-host of the Self-Renovators Podcast, and one half of the Two Stupids comedy duo. She has five Edinburgh solo shows under her belt (where she won The Telegraph's Top 20 Funniest One-Liners of the Fringe). She works as the resident compere at the 99 Club in London. And she's a regular at the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society, so she's basically alt-comedy royalty.
27th & 28th April: The Wapping Wharf Food Tour | £26.25 / £21.20

27th April: Local Gin Tasting @ Bristol Dry Gin Distillery | £22.00
Underneath the bastion of Bristol booziness that is the Rummer Hotel lurks an immense micro-distillery: Bristol Dry Gin. Descend the stone staircase down to twisty, low-ceilinged cellars of the distillery under St Nicks market, and you'll enter into a magical land of gin. 28th April: Microbrewery Tour @ Croft Ales| £12
Keen to get a sneaky-peak behind the scenes of a working microbrewery, learn a thing or two about how beer is made and try some of the finished product? Of course you are. Grab a limited availability ticket from Wriggle and get down to Stokes Croft for the tour and ale tasting. 28th April: Whisky Festival Ticket – Unlimited Tastings! | £25
Bang in the centre of Bristol, for one day only, you'll find a whisky lover's paradise - the Bristol Whisky Festival from Whisky Lounge. At this incredible event, you'll sample an utterly fabulous array of Whiskies. It's sure to be memorable (or a haze, depending on how much whisky you sample), with a taste experience for all varieties of whisky enthusiasts. 28th April: Live Comedy & Improv: The Antics Joke Show ft. Jollyboat! | £5
