Food pick-up and delivery from some of Bristol’s best independents is now available through the app and website! We’re doing things a little bit differently than you’ll be used to. On the app you’ll find a whole host of delicious options, both pick-up and delivery. Each will be clearly marked with what it is, and the time that the food will be ready to pick-up or a timeframe that it will be delivered. So you could be browsing on Wednesday for a delicious treat that will be ready on Friday.
It’s a chance for businesses to simplify their operations without facing huge fees that would prevent them from reopening at all, so you know that you’re directly supporting your local food scene. You’ll still use the Wriggle as you did before, browsing and discovering amazing independent businesses. Payment is also handled in the app, so as an existing user you’ll already have a profile and payment details saved. If you’ve chosen delivery, you’ll just need to add an address when prompted and ensure you are within the delivery radius.
To celebrate the relaunch, we’ve teamed up with new pizza operation Spring Slice to give away 50 delivered sourdough pizzas through the platform! (available to BS2, BS3, BS4, BS5, BS6, BS8, and BS15) All 50 delivered pizzas will go live on the app at 14:00 on Fri 12 June and will be spread over 5 days, so if Friday is sold out, try another day and you might be lucky! Pizzas are limited to one per account and will be delivered to the lucky Wriggle customers between 7-8pm each day.
Spring Slice sourdough pizzas are also making their debut on the Wriggle app, providing epic sourdough base pizzas with a San Marzano passata base, mozzarella cheeses, basil and host of toppings. There’s vegan and veggie options available, too. Other businesses that will be listed within the app and on the website include Mugshot, delivered homemade dishes from Spoke and Stringer, a special home wine tasting with Averys Cellars, and loads of other great independent businesses with more partners are being signed up each day.
