Bristol is full 24 hour party people who live, work, dance and repeat. With this in mind we have put together a list of places open late and early to keep you fueled up whatever you're doing.
The late nighters
Renatos - 5:30pm - 2:00am
A Bristol stalwart on King Street serving reasonably priced pizza and beer to both decorated actors looking for somewhere to relax after a stint at the Old Vic and Johnny Public. Open until 2am and rarely the sort of place where you can't hear yourself talk, this is definitely somewhere to duck into if you are out late.
YoYo Burger - 12:00pm - 4:30am
Upstairs looks like any other burger bar, down stairs looks like a dining room from the film Tron. Whether you are grabbing a bite to go or taking advantage of the space downstairs, these guys are open until the wee hours in the morning.
Cedars Express 11am - 3:30am
Don't be fooled, this isn't just another kebab shop filled with drunks, far from it. Here you will find gorgeous Lebanese food, including some of the best shawarma we've ever had and served until 3:30am! Pop in for a chat, a very strong coffee and take advantage of the location (Park Row).
The Beer Emporium 12:00pm - 2:00am
Bristol has more underground drinking holes than you'd realise and The Beer Emporium is the one that opens the latest. Serving great craft beer, lovely pizzas care of Pepenero and open til 2am, you can take advantage of King Street and grab a very late dinner or early breakfast at the same time.
Mayflower Chinese Restaurant 6:00pm - 3:00am
This is what Chinese restaurants used to be! A huge restaurant with massive round tables groaning with plates of Cantonese food ordered from a big, impressive menu. Everyone is catered for here, if you prefer something anglicised like chicken balls and chips, go for it. If you want to eat beef hotpot, three meat roast, fish lips and pungent garlic veggies, you are in for a treat. Serving until 3am, take advantage of the post midnight quiet.
The Early mornings
Hart's Bakery 7:00am - 3:00pm
Perhaps you have head on over to Temple Meads to catch some action shots of commuters and trains and now your tired and hungry. Opening at 7am, Hart's Bakery with choc full of coffee, cake, pastries and other delicious things to line the stomach at an ungodly hour. If you haven't rtied Saturday cake, you haven't lived.
Blue Pig 6:30am - 2:30pm
This sweet little cafe has been suffering of late with the crappy roadworks in Bristol center. They're trooping on and making the best of things and still open at an eye-watering 6:30am. Definitely the first place open centrally that we could find.
Friska 7:00am - 6:00pm
Impossibly upbeat staff, a great view of Park Street and great coffee? Ok Friska, you got us.
Milk Teeth 7:00am - 2:30pm
Proud owner and experienced-Barista, Josh, has turned the old Portland Square cafe into Milk Teeth. The cafe is just far enough away from the Cabots shopping quarter to feel a calm wash over you as you sit down for toast and coffee.
