Whether you fancy a brewery tour at one of Bristol's many epic microbreweries, a gin tasting in a hidden speakeasy, or simply a delicious wine tasting in the city's historic wine cellar, we've got you covered.

Every Friday & Saturday: Local Gin Tasting @ The Rummer | £25

Hidden away down a picturesque back street in Bristol's Georgian-era arcade is the Rummer Hotel. Whilst its main trade is the excellent hotel and bar, underneath this gorgeous building lies a secret micro-distillery that makes Bristol Dry Gin. Well, it's not a secret any more, since David and his team now host epic gin tasting events every Friday and Saturday, where you get to sample not only their very own gin, made a few metres away from your seat, but also gins from four other local Bristol gin producers. A proper taste of Bristol indeed.

One of Bristol's best-loved brewers, Wiper and True invite you down to see where the magic happens in their St Werburghs' brewery. You'll get to see the end to end brewing process which has gained the guys such a large reputation, hear about the W & T history, sample an exclusive beer that they only serve on site in the brewery, and enjoy a drink or too in the taproom. Be rude not to grab a few more for the road as well.

Hidden down a side street in Stokes Croft is the unassuming Croft Ales Brewery who are serving up some tasty, tasty beers for thirsty Bristolians. As well as being a buzzing bar at the weekend, they also offer a really good tour of their facilities with the added bonus of being able to polish off four of their concoctions afterwards. Lush.

Brew brains rejoice! This is a fun and informal tour where you'll discover the ins and outs of a working brewery– and also meet fellow beer enthusiasts from the city. The tour takes about thirty minutes, and afterwards you'll get to enjoy some properly tasty drinks - three 1/3 pints – fresh from the tank!  Staying open til late, the taproom is the perfect place to chill and sip a few bevvies that aren't available anywhere else in the world. The Moor Beer Company are UK pioneers of unfined beers, meaning that all their beer has been vegan friendly for over a decade - impressive!

What could be more decadent and easier on the beauty sleep than a bottomless two-course lunch?! Sitting and admiring the view over Bristol from the inside of Zerodegrees, you will be enjoying bottomless prosecco along two courses of mighty fine food. The Prosecco itself is from Doc Belstar, Conti Neri, Italy, with hints of pears and white peaches on the palette.

Head to Bristol's historic centre, step into the magical world of the Clockwork Rose, and settle in to hear all about "The secret history of gin according to Thomas Dakin".  Who on earth is Thomas Dakin, we hear you cry! Well, Thomas Dakin is England's oldest gin distillery business, so it's fair to say that their ambassador, Alix Walker, knows a thing or two about this most delicious of tipples. On the night, you'll be treated to a 'Tom & Tonic', whilst listening to Alix tell the fascinating story of the foregather of English gin. 

Cheese-meisters Two Belly are are teaming up with Cellarman Sam – cheese advocate & drinks guru – for an evening of cheese & drinks pairing, with the aim of creating exciting and tasty flavour combinations. Your hosts for the evening will select their favourites in beer, cider, wine and spirits and match them with some of the most delicious, favourite cheeses from the counter.

On Wednesday 21st November, the Rum Club will welcome the legendary Cut Rum into its stylish setting for a luscious night of all things rum. On the night, you'll be treated to a tasty welcome drink, as well as tutored tastings of the entire Cut Rum range. The night will be rounded off with a spectacular secret grand finale cocktail – if previous Rum Clubs are anything to go by, you can expect something pretty special. Chris Hare, Cut Rum's UK ambassador, will also be on hand, providing fun and informal tasting notes and titbits about the history of rum.

Gabe Cook is The Ciderologist, a renowned cider expert and author. He will be hosting an informed cheese & cider pairing evening with Two Belly, a cheese, beer & cider shop, newly opened in Bristol. Being in the heart of UK cider country and with the growing trend toward traditional cheese and cider making processes, Gabe and Two Belly (Lara & Dom) will take you on a journey through fermented fruit & milk, i.e cider, perry & cheese, trying 5 different ciders and 5 different kinds of cheese, all paired to challenge and excite our taste buds. 

On Thursday 29th November The Milk Thistle will be bringing the team from Plymouth to their now infamous Gin Club for the last event of 2018, and for just £20, you can join the party. Your ticket will entitle you to a perfect serve Plymouth G&T, as well as two specially created cocktails, alongside the usual tasty light nibbles and a tutored, neat tasting of the full drinks range from brand ambassador Annie Ingram.

For the final Spirit Society of 2018 Hyde & Co will be shaking things up and bringing you a truly unique and exciting brand who are doing things their own way. Ladies and gentlemen, we bring you That Boutique-y Whisky Company! Hosted at Hyde & Co on Thursday 29th November, tickets are just £20 and include a full tutored tasting of the drink rage, as well as a welcome cocktail on arrival – we think is a bit of a bargain!

This event is a seated tutored tasting of eight different wines, complete with specially selected cheeses from the Arch House Deli. Each wine will be explained by Averys' wine enthusiast, and these tastings are designed for people of all levels of wine knowledge, right from the beginner with a thirst for knowledge to the expert with a cellar full of wine looking for the next big thing.
