Bean enthusiasts, it's time to wake up and smell the coffee! On the 11th August Brighton will play host to its very first Coffee Festival.
The idea for the festival was spawned from that the knowledge that Brighton drinks more coffee per person than anywhere else in the UK and spends approximately £200 a year on coffee! That’s alotta lattes. That and of course the fact that our seaside town is home to one of the best artisan coffee scenes in the world.
The Brighton Coffee Festival looks to celebrate everything great about the local coffee industry and our vibrant city.
The one-day event will include multiple sessions throughout the day and will feature cuppings, latte art competitions, informative talks by industry professionals, entertainment, giveaways, food stands and trade stands from the likes of Small Batch, Redroaster, Pharmacie and Bird & Blend, as well as all the coffee you could need, obvs.
“We are excited to bring together some of the best brands both locally and nationally. The coffee scene in Brighton has boomed over the past few years, and what better way than to celebrate with the city’s favourite names all under one roof! We still have plenty more traders to announce – both food and drink based.”Brighton Coffee Festival Team
