It's almost that time of year again folks, do we even need to say it, it is THE BEST weekend of the year ... PRIDE IS COMING! We can't wait for the city to become a glittery rainbow filled non-stop party and we've got some lovely little events to get you right in the mood.

The Painting Pottery Café love Brighton Pride! The joy, the inclusivity, the bright colours - it’s everything they love to celebrate at their Café. So, they're helping to kick start the huge weekend with an evening of Pride-infused pottery painting! ‘Colour My World’ is Brighton Pride’s theme this year – a celebration of all the elation and vibrancy within the LGBTQ+ community. Whatever you paint can be a representation of your identity and what Pride means to you, and with this Wriggle, you'll get everything you need to colour your world on your pottery masterpiece. There's loadsa brightly coloured paints, tons of images, and ideas galore to help you out! Sound like your kinda thing? Then gather the gang, ‘cause on Thursday 2nd August you can go along and paint a mug, bowl, or plate. This event will be the perfect way to get into the Pride swing of things, getting you hyped up for the wonderful weekend.

Taking place over Pride weekend, the stars of RIPTIDE Wrestling are set to compete in a huge, massive, three-day tournament! Tournament competitors from the likes of Dave Benson Phillips, 'King of Strong and Stable Style' Spike Trivet, Chuck Mambo and Candyfloss. There will also be a few special exhibition matches! On the night there are refreshments from local brewers Bison Beer and Gun Brewery, hotdgogs from Beelzebab and confectionary from the Vegan Tuck Shop available. There's also live music during the interval to keep you thoroughly entertained.

It's Brighton Bestest Weekend, and what better way to take all the Pride atmosphere in than on a giant, communal bike? So, round up your Pride Pals and grab this Wriggle for the bunch of you (up to 11, including yourself) to get your own mammoth bike! Courtesy of the bunch of mad folk behind Pedal Dogs, you'll be transporting yourselves across the city, stopping every now and then for fun 'n' games - Pride style. Soak in those stunning seas views on the way, and all the city's best-known landmarks: Victoria Gardens, The Royal Pavilion & The Brighton Pier. You can plug your own music in for your very own disco party, and it's BYOB, so prepare to get silly!
