Since the 17th century, gin has been the tipple of choice for the Great British public. Now The Great British Gin Festival is coming to Brighton and we couldn't be more excited. The festival will be hosting over 100 gins from around the world, including household names, unusual flavours and exclusive, small batch gins.
Gin-lovers will be entertained by a virtual reality gin distillery, talks and trade stands, cocktail demos and live performers, with a sophisticated festival vibe.
Guests should prepare to have tastebuds tantalised as they discover all manner of gins, with some including hints of Palma Violets, chocolate, elderflower, and even rhubarb and custard! Brands include Smeatons Gin, Mr Hobbs Gin, Poetic License, JJ Whitley, Liverpool Gin, Marylebone Gin, Old Toms Gin, the Whitley Neill family, Sir Robin of Locksley, plus many more.
Bars at The Great British Gin Festival operate a ‘no cash’ system. Simply buy a drinks card on entry (£5 buys a single measure of gin, garnish and a mixer) and you’re set for the day! Cash and card payments are accepted at the friendly drinks card stand.
Gin has come a long way since its home brews origins in the 17th century and is the most diverse, flavoursome and fun its ever been. So grab the gang and head down to All Saints Church in Hove on Saturday November 24th for a gin-credible day.
