Launching today (April 5th) to the 15th April is Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival's Wine Week! And because it's always wine o'clock in our books, we've been eagerly anticipating this year's heavenly line up.

There are a ton of specialist wine events happening over the next couple of weeks including a Ginger Pig collaboration with Ridgeview, a Californian Wine Tasting at Butler's and Emilia Romagna sparkling wines at Pascere.

Wriggle have teamed up with Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival to offer you a very special treat indeed ...

Do you love trying delicious wines and sampling exquisite tapas dishes cooked by talented chefs while you're at it? If the answer is 'yes' (and we have a sneaky feeling it might be...), then listen up, because we have the perfect event for you.

You can pick up a Wriggle wristband giving you access to the incredible Brighton Wine & Tapas Trail, taking place at a variety of Brighton's finest food and drink establishments. On your selected trail date, your wristband will entitle you to some outrageously good value treats – you'll be able to purchase a 125ml glass of wine, served with some delectable tapas treats for the exclusive price of only £5 in each participating venue.

So, which venues are taking part in the trail? There are tasty treats waiting for you in the following fantastic venues: BeFries, Brighton Harbour hotel & Spa, The Butlers Wine Cellar (Kemptown village outlet, Saturday only), Curry Leaf Cafe (Kemptown Kitchen), Drakes, Fourth & Church, La Cave à Fromage (Hove), La Choza, Market Restaurant Bar, Merkaba (in the My Brighton hotel, Saturday only) Metrodeco, The Old Ship Hotel, Pascere, The Salt Room, Tropical Sushi (Saturday only).

On top of all the fun you'll have at the Wine & Tapas Trail, your wristband will also give you COMPLIMENTARY access to the Brighton Wine & Gin Festival on Sunday 15th April. This extravaganza takes place between 2-5pm in the My Brighton Hotel – that's the same place you'll be collecting your wristband from. You'll be able to taste wines from local vineyards and from further afield, sample Sussex gins with Double Dutch mixers, and there will also be Vranken Pommery champagne masterclasses.
