There are a ton of exciting special events lined up as part of the festival including an Alcoholic Ice Cream Parlour from The Fix, a Belgian Beer Cocktail Bonanza from BeFries, The Story of Tuaca at Twisted Lemon and a Cocktail & Cheese Tasting at La Cave a Fromage.
One of this year's standout events is the returning Cocktail Fusion, where chefs from some of Brighton’s most well-known restaurants are pairing up with mixologists to create a five course collaborative menu of tasting plates matched perfectly with cocktails using rums from the Bacardi range. The participants confirmed are: 64 Degrees, Boho Gelato, Curry Leaf Café, Drakes, Fourth & Church, Isaac At, La Choza, Merkaba and Murmur.
You’ll also get access to the Cocktail Court taking place at the beautiful Paganini ballroom and The Regency Room at the Old Ship Hotel on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th July. In the Paganini Ballroom and historic cellars of the Old Ship, you'll partake in a two-day Cocktail Court showcase featuring local producers and leading international brands. You'll be able to purchase cocktails at £5 each from the Pop-Up bars, including Bacardi, Fentimans, Blackdown Distillery, Cloven Hoof Rum, Brighton Gin, Tuaca, HMS Spirits, One Gin and many more.
The official closing party is set to be pretty spectacular and the biggest flair competition that the city has ever seen, with a £1500 first prize up for grabs. This triple event includes a trade show, a world class flair bartending competition and headline DJ JFB.
