Why we love it?

From the moment you see the chef skillfully tend to the charcoal grill at the entrance to Troy, you know you’re in safe hands. Warm, sesame-studded house bread served with sweet and spicy chilli sauce is a prelude for the menu of Turkish classics and grilled meats to come at one of City Road’s oldest restaurants. Kick off with a selection of meze from crisp falafel, to smokey aubergine dip and feta cheese stuffed pastries before moving on to one of Troy’s sharing grill platters which include flame-licked quail, herby koftas and crispy lamb ribs. And unlike most of City Road’s other dry grill houses you can wash it all down with a refreshing bottle of Turkish Efes lager.
