The Waiting Room cafe and bar has proven popular with Cardiff's foodies since it launched at the Tramshed a few months ago. The restaurant makes the most of the open-plan nature of the building's original function as a tram shed. The décor features upcycled wooden panelling, lots of metal, and vibrant pop art by artist, Swci Delic. Oh, and a few gnomes.
With an overarching American theme, the menu hinges upon the restaurant's signature 100% beef burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs, all of which come laden with meat, veg, cheese and lashings of home made sauces, like smoked chilli mayo and roast tomato chipotle salsa. As if we weren't already sold, you can also build-your-own macaroni cheese from a range of tantalising toppings. Enough said.
