The Pettigrew Tea Rooms are without doubt the best place for afternoon tea in Cardiff. I've been a few times now for different occasions and each time has been special. The Wriggle offer was too good to miss. Go there. You'll love it. It's amazing.
Amazing venue, friendly staff and excellent food. Highly recommended.
Really good quality food, and lovely service.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and very attentive. The breakfast came out quickly and was delicious.
I had the Welsh breakfast and it was delicious
It is one of the most unique places to eat and drink in Cardiff, with real history and a dedication to service that just in't commonly found in most venues today
The breakfast at Pettigrew was superb. The lady that served us was very welcoming and we felt at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble, even when my partner wanted to change something on the breakfast. The food was nice and hot when it got to us and of a fabulous standard. All in all a lovely breakfast in a really pretty location with very attentive staff - we will definitely return.
Pettigrew's is a small cafe next to Bute park. I have been before for lunch (they serve soups, sandwiches, cakes among other items) but this is the first time we had been for breakfast. We arrived at 10am on the Saturday and it was quiet but did get busier through the morning. This would not be much of an issue in the summer where there is more seating outside. It is a lovely place and I would highly recommend going for lunch or breakfast
Cute location serving fantastic local produce
