Independently family-owned and family-run, the Morris family's Laguna Kitchen and Bar is situated on the ground floor of Cardiff’s Park Plaza Hotel.
Despite its hotel setting, Laguna exudes the character, charm and class common to only the highest calibre of fine dining restaurants; not to mention the fact that Head Chef, Justin Llewellyn has cooked for the Queen.
Drool-inducing dishes are brimming with fresh, locally sourced ingredients like Pant Ysgawn goat’s cheese, Gower Peninsula mussels and Brecon rack of lamb, alongside several selected imports. From soup of the day and steak and chips, to salmon gravlax and 24-hour slow cooked, honey-glazed pork belly with Japanese baby apples, gratin potatoes, baby bok choi, butternut puree and cider sauce, there’s something to suit all palates.
