Ffwrnes are two Llanelli boys who've kicked up a storm in the capital thanks to their creatively crafted, hand-thrown Neapolitan pizza.
Its traditional stuff (not a rolling pin in sight) with a strong nod to Welsh heritage. Try the Jiawl Bach, a fired-up Diavola using Trealy Farm spicy salami – you'll know what we mean when we say it's hot! Already loved in Llanelli and craved in Cardiff, slice seekers further afield have started taking notice, too. Recently voted one of Wales' Top 3 purveyors of Pizza, Wriggle has a hunch that Ffwrnes are destined for all things big and all things tasty, and we're absolutely delighted that the gang have just opened their first permanent premises upstairs at the Cardiff Central Market.
Homemade dough, San Marzano DOP tomatoes and some of the finest Welsh toppings are what these guys are all about. With queues of hungry people materialising wherever they pitch up, we are so pleased that we've got a permanent place to grab these heavenly pizzas.
