After beginning life as a popular pizza pop-up, the internationally acclaimed Dusty Knuckle Pizza Company set up camp at Crafty Devil Brewing Company’s Cellar Shop and Bar on Llandaff Road, Canton. Just two weeks after the launch, however, the new restaurant had outgrown its base and moved to bigger premises just around the corner, at the PrintHaus arts collective.
The pizzeria is now located in a quirky urban courtyard furnished with recycled materials and featuring an edible herb garden, complete with a pizza oven hand-built by owners, Phill Lewis and Deb Noyes. With freshly baked, pillow-soft bases, the pizzas are laden with locally sourced ingredients like Penclawdd cockles and laverbread, and pepperoni from Llanelli-based Charcutier Ltd. Alongside pretty-much-perfect pizza, expect vibrant salads, indulgent antipasti boards and decadent desserts. For liquid refreshment, wash all that down with a cold craft beer from former stablemates Crafty Devil Brewing Co.
