A traditional, greasy spoon-style cafe by day, by night Sully's Cafe transforms, blossoming into a beautiful, exciting restaurant|bar|micro-club that's utterly wonderful in every respect. It's a metamorphosis that's as impressive and surprising as it is delicious-tasting, and we can't get enough of it.
Blue Honey Night Café is the brainchild of the team behind vintage store Blue Honey, with much of the shop's same retro influence suffusing the vibe and styling at the Night Café. Inspired by the night café-bars of years gone by, it's a delectable mash-up of heavenly music, top-notch drinks, and simply stunning food. Open till one in the morning, DJs play an eclectic mixture of musical genres; expect electro, hip hop, relaxed jazz, techno, retro house and everything else in-between.
The menu is short but perfectly formed, drawing its inspiration from street food dishes from around the world and executing them with panache, top-quality ingredients, and inventiveness. Korean chicken, Black pepper tofu, and marinated lamb are sandwiched in their home made steamy-sweet boa buns, whilst picanha steaks are cooked rare and slathered in zingy, eye-watering chimichurri sauce. There's typically three mains and a similar number of sides – go hungry, and order one of everything.
Blue Honey Night Café is our favourite new place to hang out – get a gang of your favourite people together, munch on some weep-worthily delicious food, and stay late for a night of drinks, dancing, and amazing music. What's not to love?
