Within a beautiful, multipurpose red-brick building on the corner of Raleigh Road and North Street, lurks The Tobacco Factory. It's a vibrant, exciting place, with SO much going on: theatre, food, drink, music and more. You might have whiled away an evening at Tobacco Factory enjoying a drink or six before, or possibly even nipped for a pint before a theatre performance. However, did you know that The Tobacco Factory Café Bar is also the perfect spot to enjoy some relaxed and delicious food with friends?
The vibe here is chilled out and low-key, with great music, delicious food, and excellent drinks. Tobacco Factory Café Bar serves up a varied menu which encompasses British and European classics, many of which the team have given an exciting, modern twist to, alongside timeless craft beers, wines and spirits.
There's a bangin' brunch selection, including an incredible version of an English Breakfast, and some luscious Huevos Rancheros. Be warned, though: whatever you eat for your savoury, make sure you leave plenty of space for pudding, too, 'cos Tobacco Factory have got some INSANE options. Definitely don't miss the affogato!
Like everything to do with Tobacco Factory, the emphasis in the sourcing of produce is on the local and the community-driven. Bread comes from Mark's Bread, a bakery just across the road, whilst coffee comes from the excellent Clifton Coffee.
The result of all this? A cosy, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and an all-round tip-top time. Thank us later.
A genuine community asset.
The Tobacco Factory is a great community asset (thanks to George Ferguson). A cafe, bar, restaurant, venue, meeting place all in one. The kids can get on your nerves sometimes, but then so can the adults! It's life in the round.
Great atmosphere and lovely venue, really enjoyed my food.
I do like the tobacco factory and the guy behind the bar was nice , only thing is they didn’t actually have 2 out of 3 of the types of drinks advertised on the wriggle
Great venue when there's an outdoors event going on...eg market etc
Great service
