We hardly need to introduce this royal addition to the Gloucester Road cohort, one you couldn't miss if you tried. Slap bang within a hot-spot of activity, this vibrant establishment is plastered in fantastic colours and illustrations that are emblematic of Brizzle's urban culture.
The Prince of Wales marks the beginning of a brilliant stretch of bars. In an area spoilt for choice, the pub is an anomaly that it appeals to both traditional punters and Bristol millennials. Pints upon pints of Butcombe and Otter ales are pulled throughout the week, while the student crowd enjoys cheap spirit and mixer offers.
The lively weekend evenings end later than many licensing laws allow for, allowing you to take your fill of liquor on a Saturday evening. Hangover raging, we recommend returning on the Sunday for, in their own words, 'guilt-free gluttony' in the shape of a wholesome roast dinner. A range of hearty vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes complete a fantastic menu served throughout the week.
