Squeezed is where Wapping Wharf's burger faithful travel go to get a bite closer to God. A burger, chip and lemonade specialist, this micro-munchery packs an intensely pleasurable eating experience into a modest cargo-cube of chip-wood, clean tiling, swivelley stools and paper straws (because plastic ones aren't cool). It's like a reverse foodie tardis... tiny space, huge flavours, massive fanbase.
Although occupying a slot on the roster of Cargo 2, head-honcho Alex previously earned widespread acclaim for delicious creations such as The St Werburger during his time at Rebel Roll (a sadly departed Redcliffe classic which will be sorely missed by Team Wriggle). A handmade burger slathered in cheese, doused in a sauce that was as creamy as it was sharp and encased in warm brioche guaranteed to set knees-a-trembling, The St Werburger was a legend in its own right. So much so, in fact, that it became Alex's inspiration behind the burger offering at Squeezed - nw taking centre stage on a minimalist menu and flanked on all sides by equally tempting patty-based-creations.
Burgers aside, the chips are great (seasoned with a unique hint of salty and sweet flavours) and the homemade lemonade is knockout (if you hadn't cottoned on, if you want to make awesome lemonade you've gotta squeeze a few lemons). Try the Sweet and Sour "Yard Sale" to get your tastebuds tingling or get involved with the Watermelon and Rosemary tones of the "Pinky Punky" for a more refined citrus journey.

Alex - the head chef and brains behind Squeezed, was recently voted the country's BEST BURGER CHEF at the prestigious National Burger Awards 2019 – so you'd better get down there quick-sharp to try it out, before there's queues out the door!
