A family run Bristol institution, Pepenero can now be found in the beautifully vaulted cellars of the Beer Emporium, where Salv and his team continue to produce excellent organic Italian goodies. All their pizza bases, tomato sauce and vegetables are freshly prepared and entirely organic. But not for Salv the new glamour of sourdough – these are traditional pizza pies with a hearty, wholemeal base of light, fluffy, 3-day-risen dough.
This was my first time at Beer Emporium and would definitely return. Great to see vegan pizza options for my daughter. She has tried many vegan pizzas at numerous restaurants and said this was by far one of the best. The pizzas were amazing and I can’t fault the service or cleanliness of the venue.
This is pretty awesome pizza in a cool cellar. Definitely worth a look, and a fine veer selection too!
It’s a great spot! I go earlier if I’m with my son as it gets very busy and noisy later.
