A healthy dose of Clifton village glamour. No. 4 is an award-winning restaurant located in a beautiful Georgian mansion house. Expect a warm and inviting space, top-notch grub and impeccable service. From a premium cut of Ruby and White steak to the deliciously refined a la carte menu, No.4 promises a hefty dose of decadence no matter what your preferred dish. Acclaimed as an award winning restaurant, a testament to their excellent chefs, unwind in an intimate dining experience that is not short of ambience. With all produce sourced from Bristol and the surrounding Somerset area, expect the highest quality nosh from the best British farmers. Regardless of their high-end status, No.4 are not shy of an enticing deal or two. For those inclined to some mid-week naughtiness, 2 courses accompanied with bottomless prosecco is an offer hard to resist!
Far from limited to sophisticated dining, No.4 take indulgent grazing very seriously. Summer soirees call for tasty bites on the grill, and a range of smoked and marinated meats will be sure to do the job. For the veggies among us, do not fear, if Morrocan cous-cous salad or asparagus, toasted almonds and manchego cheese sounds appetising, you’ll fit in just great. If you’re looking to host, freshen up with the aperol spritz or bottomless prosecco packages, to put a twist on the traditional BBQ.
Oozing that Clifton charm, there is no better setting to enjoy a quintessentially British afternoon tea. Whether dining in their stylish restaurant, or relaxing in the secluded, ivy walled garden, you can enjoy your afternoon tea whatever the weather. The only thing more British than tea, is of course, Gin and No.4 allows you to enjoy a classic G&T in your favourite vintage crockery. Offering the Hendrick’s afternoon tea package, or if you prefer even more bubbles, their Perrier-Jouet package is perfect for a civilised celebration. It’s all too tempting for us at Wriggle!

Good atmosphere Good food - locally sourced steak Portion sizes fair without feeling uncomfortably full
This was the first time we'd been to The Rodney Hotel. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food & our surroundings. We'll definitely be going back.
Really cosy restaurant. There was a slight mistake to our order but we were given a free glass of wine to compensate which was very generous. Very happy overall!
