When No.1 Harbourside opened its doors in 2010 they wanted to show the people of Bristol they were not “just another bar”. Being independently owned, they wanted to be a place for people, for affordable good times, celebrating local producers and showcasing top-notch music, four nights a week, for free, forever. They haven’t disappointed.
With inclusivity at the heart of the bar, you can expect a top-notch foodie menu (their Fish is some of the finest in Bristol), eclectic music nights, a large range of local drinks and an ever-changing menu; culminating in an all-purpose bar that is a must visit for day and night visitors alike. Whether you’re idly watching the Bristol harbourside crowd go about their day or whether you’re looking for a night out with a difference, you’ll find what you want here.
Great service, great selection of beverages and great atmosphere
Great food (fish could be a bit bigger!) excellent service.
Food was good. Manager who checked my Wriggle code was very friendly. Only niggle is the choice of beers offered in the deal wasn’t great. If the selection could be expanded to their other lagers (such as Grolsch) and their other plentiful cask ales then that would be a vast improvement.
The fish and chips and mushy minty peas were incredible! Best I’ve ever had.
The staff were very friendly but their attention to detail was lacking. People were sat at our reserved table, not cutlery was given to us with our food. The food was delicious and everyone was delighted with what they ordered.
The bar/waiting staff are so lovely and friendly.
