Naasto means snack, but Monica's (the head of Naasto Baasto) Grandfather always had a way of rhyming gibberish words after it and she ended up with Naasto Baasto.
Food is a huge part of Monica's heritage and it has always been the link between the generations of her families. The dishes that she serves at Naasto Baasto are the traditional Gujarati recipes that she learned from her mother and grandmother.
Naasto Baasto offer both vegan and meat dishes although the majority of the menu has a vegetarian theme, expect a whole heap of spices and a whirlwind of flavours.
As well as running popup kitchens Naasto Baasto also offers private catering and Gujarati cooking schools.
