There's scarcely a more pleasant way to spend a lazy few hours in Bristol than in the Mockingbird Cafe – particularly if you can bag yourself one of the large, sunlit window-seats for a lazy Saturday morning brunch or mid-week lunch.
This beautiful Clifton cafe provides something a bit different to the typical cafe-fare you might find across Bristol. Here it's about Deep-South US style home cooking, delivered in a beautiful, light and airy space with plenty of foliage. Owned and run by Oliver, an Englishman with a passion for the US (his wife is from Mississippi, where he travelled for some time, and he regularly cooks wearing a Stars and Spangles bandana).
