First ever visit and really impressed with quality of meat and products on offer. Really nice place!
Not a meal but a meat box, but it’s great meat and the guy there really knows and cares about his meat
Really impressed with the quality of the meat. I love the fact that it’s locally sourced just down the road and that the butcher really cares about his product and works hand in hand with farmer. A real family business that I feel proud to buy my meat from. I have already spread the word and will continue to do so.
The meet was very fresh and portions a good size, its great to be able to pick up a box when it suits rather than having to sign up & commit like other retailers.
Well, meat is really not that eco friendly and we all should eat less of it, but... This is the best butcher in Bristol, by far and without a doubt (even better than Source in St Nick's market). Sourced directly from local farms (Somerset, mainly), all of it is free-range, high-welfare, and much of it is organic. Oh and it's sooo tasty. Don't think there's anywhere in Bristol you can buy a steak dry aged for 50-100 (!) days, and they have cuts like t-bone which are hard to come by anywhere else. Their burgers are lush, made of minced dry-aged cut-offs and you can taste it. Nothing's pre-cut so you get it fresh and tender. For what it is, their prices are really good - you get your prime cuts for below £30 a kilo, which is what supermarkets will charge for much worse quality meat. Can't praise high enough.
Great Meat from these folks!
