Harbour & Browns over at Cargo 2 are serious contenders in the bid to claim Bristol’s best boozy brunch. The team behind Brace & Browns on Whiteladies are honing in on their bottomless brunch and fine dining skills within the modest space of three shipping containers, offering a variety of small, medium and large plates along with generous amounts of prosecco.
Touches of pink, grey and deep blue make an effortlessly chic aesthetic with minimalist decor transforming it into a swanky open space. With a varied menu ranging from pulled jackfruit to cod tacos and lamb racks, accompanied by sultry views overlooking the harbour, this place is a gorgeous spot for great food and charming views.
H&B’s wriggle deal was great. It was actually 4 x small plates to share but that’s even better right?!! The beef rib was to die for, prawns, croquettes & chicken wings all high on taste and quality (very insta-friendly too!) I’d recommend
Great food wonderfully engaging knowledgeable host
This was honestly, hands-down one of the best meals I've had in ages. We came on a sunny evening and sat out on the terrace. As the restaurant no longer serve large mains (as per the details on the Wriggle offer) we were offered four small plates instead, which turned out to be better value. I had the garlic and mango prawn skewer and the salmon rosti, and my partner had slow-cooked beef and mushroom toast. All were absolutely gorgeous and my partner remarked that it was the best beef he'd ever had!
Went early before theatre show so didn’t really experience full atmosphere. But staff and food were excellent
Great friendly staff member who served us! The procsecco was really tasty as well!
