Happy Bird has eschewed the typical dirty, zero welfare Fried Chicken trope and is focused on only serving the very best chicken, which in our case means free to roam, herb fed chicken raised by Ed, our farmer in Yorkshire, for twice as long as regular chickens.

The restaurant itself is modern and fun, with a real Miami vibe and a proper soundtrack. With Chef Des now on board, formerly of Carols Crab Kitchen fame, the existing menu is soon to be supplemented with a brand new wave of specials - think Coq Au Vin burgers with shallots, mushrooms and red wine ketchup, Chicken Madras burgers with onion bhajis and Southern inspired behemoths consisting of fried chicken, BBQ sauce and gumbo.
