For all you crêpe lovers of Bristol, there's a new French gang in town, and we couldn't be happier! They make authentic crêpes & galettes, in the traditional way of Britanny (it's the birthplace of crêpes, if ya didn't know).
Chez Marcel have proudly brought the traditional crêpes and galettes from Brittany all the way to Bristol, making us the luckiest folks around. In true French fashion, the menu is composed of a wide array of galettes - buckwheat savoury crêpes (which also happen to be gluten-free) - and a cracking range of sweet crêpes with out-of-this-world toppings.
Decor-wise you'll be transported straight into a quirky crêperie bretonne, with its wooden furniture, bright red facade, and lovely posters advertising the very best of Bretagne. You might hear some French vibes around - that's just chef Gregory showcasing the very best of French hospitality.
The Wriggle team proudly counts a couple of French peeps in its ranks, and they've confirmed it: Chez Marcel have definitely recreated a small French haven conveniently close to the Wriggle office.
Lovely place with friendly staff and great food!
