Bristol Refugee Rights is a charity in Bristol who work with people seeking asylum, people who have been trafficked, people with refugee status and migrants in need. In 2019, BRR’s doors will have been open for 13 years and during that time BRR has developed into the largest provider of services to asylum seekers and refugees in Bristol. BRR sees over a thousand different people each year and offers a range of services including a drop-in Welcome Centre (with social support including destitution bags and a hot meal), English classes, an advice service, a creche for the pre-school children of their members and opportunities for volunteering.
What a lovely idea. I hope the refugees enjoyed their dinner.
The above doesn’t really apply to this Wriggle as it was a donation. But I wanted to say how brilliant it is that Wriggle has the option to make donations for refugees and also that you don’t deduct any of it for admin. I have been to a Bristol Refugee Rights meal to meet people there and it is a very good cause. Thanks for the opportunity to contribute financially.
This is for refugees and I am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to pay for this. Everyone should help out, even if it is just a few pennies
