Bristol Print Collective deliver printmaking workshops in pop up venues in galleries, festivals and community spaces. Our aim is to keep the traditions of printmaking alive by offering accessible and engaging workshops for all members of society.
The printing workshop was great. I learned a great new technique in a friendly supportive atmosphere
Cosy. Best coffee I've had for a long time and a welcoming atmosphere. Workshop was good and new to crafters were given good instruction and help.
I have been to this venue previously for coffee and a chocolate brownie, both of which were very nice, and the service was good. There wasn't time on the night of the course to purchase anything-it would have been good to have had a proper say 15 minute interval in which we could have purchased and enjoyed refreshments. This was down to the organiser, not the venue, but the server did participate in the class at one point-just when I was thinking of buying a drink, but I didn't feel I could interrupt her art activities to buy one!!!! You are either working as a server or you are participating in the course-it is not very professional to do both! This may again be the fault of the course organiser, as she perhaps invited the young lady to get involved.
This was a great venue and workshop. We had great fun and learned a lot.
